In Summer 2008 we commissioned the UK pilot plant facility at Wilton, Teesside.
The plant, which incorporates our proprietary SMR and FT technology, demonstrates the fully integrated CompactGTL process operating under commercial conditions. Throughput is 1 bbl of syncrude per week and the feedstock can be controlled to test the variety of associated gas compositions encountered. Testing at this scale provides valuable operability data that feeds into our larger scale pilot plant and commercial plant projects.
